Foreign citizens can find a job in Russian companies using the Search and Recruitment System

Rossotrudnichestvo presented the system for search and recruitment of foreign talents by the Russian digital economy sector companies called Russia-work. The project is being developed by IBS, a leading Russian IT company, with the support from Rossotrudnichestvo under the Human Resources for the Digital Economy Federal Project of the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation National Programme.

Why do Russian companies employ so few foreigners?

The problem is foreign citizens know almost nothing about the opportunities the Russian companies, primarily those working in the digital economy sector, are ready to give them. And those who know about such opportunities do not understand the peculiarities of employment. What should be done? A way out is development of a modern system for search and recruitment of foreign talents which will be available to candidates from all over the world.

 – “As of today, we have received a huge feedback from school students, university students and professionals who want to study and work in Russia”, says Mikhail Popov, Director of the Scientific and Educational Project Management Department of Rossotrudnichestvo. – “The Russia-work system which will be launched by us in cooperation IBS in the next year will simplify the job search for foreigners. The platform will help them find a job either here, in Russia, or at foreign representative offices of Russian companies in their countries. As expected, the system will promote the growth of the Russian economy in general and strengthen the positive image of our country on the international level.

So, what should candidates expect? They can sign up, create a profile and look through the offers of employers in Russia-work. The development advise to add as much information that might get the employer interested as possible to the user profile: apart from the traditional fields of work experience and education – projects, ideas, blogs, awards and bonuses, even social media profiles. The platform will be multilingual so anyone will be able to figure everything out.

Company cards will also be user-friendly and informative: work conditions, salary, additional bonuses. Employers will be able to create a unique profile.

Leaders of the Russian market, such as Lukoil, Gazprom, RZD and Rosatom have already studied the system and are ready to join.

As expected, the system for search and recruitment of foreign talents will be launched by late 2020.
