ABOUT THE DIGITAL LITERACY PROGRAMME

The programme is aimed at promoting Russian geopolitical interests and facilitating the international relations through cultural exchange, education and new technologies. Enhancing the qualification of teaching staff, engagement of talented human resources to study and work in Russia in the IT field, proliferation of the best practices for digital literacy development among students of Russian schools abroad will enable further development of the Russian digital economy by 2024.


All the projects that were elaborated are intended to build up conscious digital behaviour, the skills of digital literacy and creating one's own digital products, to teach programming and other aspects of IT usage.

By 2021, it is planned to reach the following:
3150
teachers of Russian schools abroad will complete advanced training in other countries in the competencies that are key for the digital economy.
6300
students and teachers of Russian schools abroad to be trained in the programmes of replicating the best digital literacy development practices.
3500
persons will attend the educational and motivational events aimed to win over prospective foreign students for university studies in IT majors.
3000
persons will attend the educational and motivational events intended to attract talented people residing abroad to get a job in the Russian Federation.
