The digital literacy web portal will be open in October
On 10 October the ITMO University will launch the CifRU portal, an online platform aimed at improving the digital literacy and culture of students of 8-11 grades at Russian-speaking secondary schools outside Russia with the support from Rossotrudnichestvo and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.
The project includes information from various fields of the digital literacy: programming, IT security, website development, virtual reality, cryptocurrency. After completion of the course each participant will be awarded a certificate giving additional 5 points upon application to the ITMO University. The certificate is perpetual and may be used for any educational programme. Participation is fully free.
The project is included into the grant programme of Rossotrudnichestvo aimed at increasing the digital literacy of students at Russian schools abroad as part of the Human Resources for the Digital Economy Federal Project and the Digital Economy National Project.
