A STEM Education Workshop was held for teachers of schools in Kyrgyzstan with the support from eNano and Rossotrudnichestvo
On 26 September 2019, a workshop dedicated to the Hi-Tech Fundamentals and Improvement of Digital Literacy: Dissemination of the Best Practices for the use of Electronic Learning Resources Developed by the Stemford Project in Russian Schools Abroad was held in Bishkek.
The workshop included 117 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Russia.
The event was held by the Elektronnoe Obrazovanie dlya Nanoindustrii Autonomous Non-Profit Organisation (eNano ANO) under the grant assistance of Rossotrudnichestvo for dissemination of the best practices for improvement of the digital literacy of school students in Russian schools abroad.
The workshop included 117 participants from Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Russia. 105 of them were educators (67 teachers and 38 executives of educational institutions and other educators) and 3 school students from school No. 2 of Naryn.
The workshop was arranged by eNano ANO in cooperation with the Foundation for Education Initiatives Support (FEIS), Bishkek. The partners of the event were a representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan, the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov where the event was held, and the Academy of Education of Kyrgyzstan. The event was attended by Ulanbek Mambetakunov, Vice President of the Academy of Education of Kyrgyzstan, Irina Tsareva, Supervisor of Educational Programmes of Rossotrudnichestvo in Kyrgyzstan, Aleksandr Ivanov, Director of FEIS, and Igor Valdman, Director of eNano ANO.
The participants got acquainted with the contents and plans for implementation of the project, model educational programmes for school students, advanced study e-programmes, technical features of the stemford.org platform and the work with electronic resources, remote network projects and other digital resources of the Stemford project.
After the workshop, all participants were awarded digital literacy graduation certificates. Besides, eNano ANO and the Academy of Education of Kyrgyzstan signed an agreement for cooperation in the field of scientific education of school students and professional development of teachers.
