Digital School
Arranging and running digital literacy lectures and master classes: on-site visits and interactive participation through a dedicated Internet platform
Development of a mechanism for cooperation of Russian and foreign educational institutions and vocational training organisations aimed at improving the digital literacy and building the information security skills, applying the modern information technologies and programming through offline and online events with the involvement of industry professionals as spokespersons and experts.
Objectives:
- promotion of media and IT education;
- promotion of digital economy professions and specialities among school students of Russia and other countries of the world;
- ensuring accessibility of field-specific educational resources (for students, teachers and parents);
- shaping up a proactive approach to life by promoting digital literacy and programming skills and the use of modern digital technologies.
The project includes the following relevant objectives: arrangement and further support of children's and youth teams of the digital economy project participants, including subsequent work with separate participants (gifted school students and young people); increasing the level of information security, digital and media literacy competence of employees of the educational institutions.
