The aim of mastering the Regulatory Environment for the Digital Economy academic discipline is the in-depth study of regulatory environment for adoption of digital technologies in economic transactions. Objective of the discipline: student’s theoretical mastering of contemporary concepts and models for the development of legislation in the matters of governing the “digital” economic relations; acquiring practical skills of generalisation and comparative analysis of foreign experience of the state involvement in the regulatory environment for economic activities in the context of digitalisation; understanding of Russia’s macroeconomic problems, identifying the trends in the “digital” economy-related lawmaking process. Having studied the discipline, the students must: Know: 1) main concepts of regulatory environment in economic activities and property-related economic circulation, and be able to properly simulate the framework in view of the digital economy technological features; 2) know the specific features (international and domestic) of public enterprise forms and cooperation with the business in formation of the digital economy; 3) functions of the state in the new technological context. Be able: 1) to single out and correlate the negative and positive factors of the digital transformation from the regulatory view point, determine the extent of their effects on the exercisability of rights and freedoms in economic activities; 2) realise the features and opportunities of modern and promising information and communication technologies that make the foundation of the digital economy.
