The programme was developed by the leading technical universities of Russia:

  • National Research University of Electronic Technology (MIET)
  • Don State Technical University
  • Tomsk Polytechnic University

The project is based on the inter-university online education platform called Universarium (universarium.org). The lecturers are leading IT professionals.

The project includes the following courses:

  • IT Introductory Course (20 classroom hours а lectures + 20 classroom hours of webinars). Over a short period of time, information technologies have found their way into almost all spheres of our life and the life of a modern civilised man without them can hardly be imagined. This course offers to study the fundamentals of information technologies and the main paths of their development. Besides, the participants will learn about the technologies and specialities that can be combined and what happens when they do.
  • Web Development. Introduction to FrontEnd Development (20 classroom hours of lectures + 20 classroom hours of webinars). FrontEnd development is a discipline that combines the creative potential and the deep practical experience in web programming. Markup languages and cascading style sheets allow to design web apps, website interfaces and present the information in a user-attractive way. And the knowledge of scripting languages will help add new functions to the websites and make them interactive.
  • Web Development. Introduction to BackEnd Development (20 classroom hours of lectures + 20 classroom hours of webinars). BackEnd development is a process for design of website and adding features to them. Building the website kernel, developing its platform, adding basic functions and creating the administrative area, managing the databases and the website security are tasks performed by a highly professional web developer.
